Regenerated Membership
Baptists believe in and stand for a regenerated church membership. As Christians, we believe it is
important to take a clear and concise stand in regard to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Scripture clearly states the first requirement for member ship in a New Testament church is a
personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We require all seeking membership in our
church to confess their personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, followed by
baptism by immersion (1).
In order to preserve the authority and testimony of the local church, as well as fulfill the Lord
commands concerning church discipline, the local assemblies are to keep rolls as the Apostolic
churches did (2). Our church holds elections and delegates authority and benefits, and is a church
consisting of regenerated members.
