Drop-off/Pick-up Times
  • We ask that you drop off children between 8:15am and 8:30am; you may
    pick up your children at any time.
  • Please be aware that after lunchtime the children take a nap. If your
    child must leave early, we encourage you to pick them up before or
    during lunch so that other children napping will not be disturbed.
  • Please be here promptly at 3:00pm to pick up children. After 3:10pm
    the children will be taken to aftercare and care will be charged at the
    hourly rate
  • Please have your children picked up by 6:00 pm or you will be
    charged $1.00 per minute after the first five minutes you are late
    (Please Call).

Illness
  • Please do not send your child to preschool sick. They must be fever free
    WITHOUT medication for 24 hours. If they run a fever of more than 100.4
    we will call you to pick them up. We will also call you if they have
    prolonged diarrhea, vomiting, or have other signs or symptoms of illness..

Discipline
  • We will use Time-out (1 minute for each year of the child’s age) and
    redirection (giving a child a different activity to do.)
  • Spanking and other forms of corporal punishment are not allowed.
  • If, and only if, every attempt by the employee seems to fail, then the
    preschool director will attend to their behavior.
  • If preschool director is unable to correct behavior, then parent will
    be called

Contact Information
  • It is the parent’s/guardian’s responsibility to keep contact information up
    to date
  • Incorrect information can cause problems in cases of emergency,
    when children are sick, or when children are not picked up, and many
    other instances
  • Preschool updates your records every semester. However, it is the
    parent’s/guardian’s responsibility to notify Preschool of any changes
    in between.

Additional Information:
  • The Preschool follows Alvin I.S.D. School Schedule for holidays and
    attendance , with the exception of the summer.
  • You will need to provide a Daily Snack and a lunch. Please bring Food that
    does not need refrigeration or heating (EXCEPTION: Infant bottles/food)
  • Child will need a mat and blanket for naptime.
  • Child will also need daily one extra set of clothes, and diapers if needed.
  • Please make sure every item you bring has your child’s name on it (mat,
    backpacks, lunches, cups, diapers, wipe containers, etc.).
  • Please provide a copy of your child’s current immunization record before
    first day of preschool
